Renovation and decoration project 

Nestled within Paris’s prestigious 7th arrondissement, this 200-square-meter apartment, dating back to the 1880s and just a few steps away from the Eiffel Tower, epitomizes timeless elegance.

Commissioned as a Pied-à-Terre for an East Coast American couple, our design approach seamlessly marries functionality, modern comforts, and the apartment’s grandeur.

Drawing inspiration from both the apartment’s heritage and the owners’ love for nature, we opted for a nature-inspired palette, allowing the surroundings and natural light to guide our design choices. This created a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, one of Lichelle’s favorite design approaches.

The apartment underwent a refreshing transformation, including paint and wall covering updates, floor refinishing, and the addition of new hardware and fixtures. Within our tasks, we designed the addition of moldings and architectural elements throughout the residence, which were removed in a previous ill renovation, all seamlessly accomplished to pave the way for subsequent decoration, furnishing, and styling.

Embracing the allure of antiques, we carefully curated vintage pieces to imbue the interiors with character and a sense of lived-in allure. Notable treasures, such as the oval mercury mirror and the exquisite dining room chandelier sourced at the Marché de Puces, serve as focal points, each telling a story of timeless elegance and refinement. The juxtaposition of our private-label contemporary furniture collection and bespoke solutions with these antique accents adds depth and personality.

Every element has been thoughtfully chosen to enhance both comfort and sophistication, ensuring that the space feels refined and inviting. Sumptuous velvet textures add tactile allure, while the wool and sisal of the rugs provide a lovely contrast, complemented by linen and silk for an extra layer of contrast and sensory interest.

In essence, this Parisian retreat epitomizes the art of understated luxury, where timeless charm meets contemporary comfort in perfect harmony.
